The 1839 Awards are CSU's annual awards for the unsung heroes of the University. We celebrate lecturers who go above and beyond to help you, cleaning staff who brighten up your day, and students who you think deserve special recognition for helping other students.

The nominees were put forward by you, and the shortlist was chosen anonymously by our brand new Student Council and your Elected Officers. There are also two lucky holders of the GOLDEN TICKETS, who have been chosen by our Elected Officers to be automatically shortlisted - these will be announced soon!

We are happy to announce the following staff members and students have been shortlisted and are invited to the ceremony at Storyhouse, and are one step closer to winning the awards!
