Upon affiliation all societies must submit their annual risk assessment for their regular meetings/activities.
For any activities outside of your normal meetings and activities such as events and trips, an additional risk assessment must be completed BEFORE the event takes place. You can find information regarding this on the Events and Trips tile.
Following the submission of your event proposal form and once the Student Opportunities Team have confirmed your event or trip can go ahead, you should submit a draft of your risk assessment within 5 working days.
Completion of risk assessments is compulsory, failure to do this may void your insurance coverage.
All members of CSU affiliated societies are covered by our Endsleigh Personal Accident Insurance Plan, which is a Group Personal Injury Plan provided by Chubb.
