Summer's Priorities

  • Working with the student support team to ensure support is given to all students in a timely manner
  • Making student loneliness a priority by ensuring there are more events held and there are gateways to allow everyone to join societies and sports teams
  • Seeking out alternative ways to promote societies through spotlights
  • Working with the AU to guarantee equal representation and transparency between all sports teams

About Summer

Hi everyone! I'm Summer. I've just finished my first year of university, and I'm your VP Student Life. I'll be trying to make your life here in Chester, Birkenhead or Warrington the best it can be this year! Please come up to me and chat if you see me around campus, and let me know if there's anything that would make your student experience a better one.

What are you studying?

I am studying International Tourism Management and Marketing Management.

Any top tips to any new student arriving in September?

Make sure you use every opportunity that you are given! Especially joining a society or sports team, or coming to one of our events!

Tell us a fun fact...

I know the history of chocolate? I know every UK bird? I know the whole periodic table by heart?

What is something you are most looking forward to about being an Elected Officer?                                                                                                         

I am looking forward to getting to know everyone and to support you and make your voices heard!

What do you like doing when you aren’t being an Officer?

I like to read – I'm currently reading through the Harry Potter books. I like to nap, I like to try out sports and I love to travel; my favourite place I have been to is New York!

What is your favourite place on campus?

Seaborne library! I love reading and learning!
