This year marked the 12th annual celebration of the 1839 Awards, an occasion the whole University of Chester community looks forward to, where the remarkable achievements of both staff and students are celebrated.

With over 600 nominations submitted from the university's community, the enthusiasm surrounding the event was palpable. Each nomination served as a testament to the outstanding impact that individuals within our community provide, both within the walls of our University, and beyond.

The purpose of the 1839 Awards is to recognise and honour those who demonstrate unwavering commitment, passion, and dedication.
