Vice President Education 2025/26 – Manifesto Points

My name is Adedayo Adebisi, AAT, ACA, and I currently serve as your Vice President Education at Chester Students’ Union (CSU) for the 2024/25 academic year. In this role, I have championed students’ voices across all faculties, ensuring their concerns are addressed by the University, I have successfully resolved over 70% of academic concerns brought to my office.

Among my key achievements are:

  • Advocating for students' housing rights, particularly the eradication of guarantor requests by landlords.

  • Influencing MPs to VOTE the ban of landlords from demanding multiple months' rent upfront from students.

  • Hosting impactful events, including the Interfaculty FIFA Tournament and the LinkedIn Optimization session at the Student Leaders Conference.

  • Roaming for academic feedback across all campuses to improve students’ academic experience.

  • Resolving timetable clashes and changes concerns, a commitment I will continue to prioritize if re-elected.

  • Ran massive campaigns on Key Changes on Moodle redesign and Exceptional Circumstances.

These are just some of the achievements I am proud to share.

As we prepare for the next academic year, I am excited to announce my candidacy for the role of the Vice President Education for the 2025/26 academic year. Within the past year, I have gained valuable knowledge and experience in the role, and I am committed to building on this foundation to pursue the priorities that remain unachieved.

My manifesto points for 2025/2026 academic year if re-elected are;

  1. Student-Centric Academic Support

  1. Improve the PAT system for better academic support and guidance

  1. Continuing the fight for No More Guarantors on Students Housing

  1. Advocate for Direct Transport Links to Exton and Queens Park Campuses

Together, we can achieve more!

Thank you.
