Hi everyone, Summer here 😎

I hope you are all excited for Society Awards taking place soon - I know I am! Looking back on the year, you should all be extremely proud of what you have achieved so far, from incredible performances and amazing events for your members, to the communities you have created!

Thank you committees for your passion and drive for your society, and to society members, I hope you are all having a tonne of fun and have made a lot of new friends since joining your societies!

I am looking forward to seeing what you all get up to during the third term. I have heard CRAGS are continuing their tradition of the 36-hour event which I am sure will be a blast for everyone involved. K-Cover Group are also putting on a workshop at Chestival this year (30th April, 2pm onwards) which will be great fun, as will KPP’s performance of Legally Blonde. If there are any other events your society is putting on soon, let me know!

Society Spotlight

Archaeology Society

It's been a busy month for the archaeology society! We ran our first field trip in several years - exploring the beautiful and fascinating St John's Church. Throughout the year we've forged links with heritage-related people and organisations like St John's, and hopefully this'll lead to more exciting events in future.

We've also put on further socials, bringing our community of archaeology enthusiasts together. Finally, we've been nominated for two society awards! Thanks to everyone for attending our sessions and supporting our society this year.

The Society+ Scoreboard is now hidden and the top 3 societies will be revealed at the Society Awards on the 7^th May. The top 10 will be revealed shortly after.

A reminder that all societies are allowed (and very welcome) to continue activities after the Easter Break & over the summer. Room bookings are accessible across the whole year and CSU staff are always around to support you too.
