We did it - free sexual health resources are now on campus!

Hi everyone,
As your CSU president, one of my core goals was to ensure that our campus was a space where all students feel supported, not just academically, but personally too. That’s why I’m so excited to share a major win that will have a lasting impact on our students: the introduction of free condoms, STI testing kits and pregnancy tests in CSU bathrooms!
This change wasn’t just a win for me and my campaign - but for all of us. Here’s how we got there and why it matters.
It became clear to me early on just how hard it was to access affordable and discreet sexual health resources on campus. In an ideal world, these things should be easy to get, private, and there for you when you actually need them.
That’s what kicked off my campaign. We launched SHAG Week, which was all about promoting open, shame-free conversations about sexual health. We ran events, shared loads of info on socials, and did some outreach work too – and honestly, the response from you all was incredible.
So, if you ever need condoms, a pregnancy test, or an STI test – they’re there. No forms or awkward conversations. Just head to the CSU toilets and take what you need.
I’m so proud of what we’ve achieved, but this success belongs to every student who supported this initiative. Together, we’ve made a difference!
