Adedayo, our VP Education, will be working with the student and the University on this issue. Watch this space!
We, the undersigned students, respectfully request urgent consideration for dissertation reassessment or resit opportunities for those whose initial submission did not meet the required standards. Many affected students face imminent visa expiration, leaving them with no opportunity to complete their academic journey. We seek a fair resolution, such as an expedited reassessment process or a chance to resit without undue delays, ensuring that students are not forced to abandon their studies due to circumstances beyond their control. We appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to your support.

Dear team, I hope you are doing well. I am reaching out to seek your guidance and support regarding my dissertation outcome. While I successfully passed my viva presentation, my dissertation itself was unfortunately marked as a fail. The primary reason for this was the immense stress and anxiety I experienced due to an administrative error in my initial CAS letter. According to the incorrect CAS, my visa was set to expire in March 2025, which caused significant distress and uncertainty. Thankfully, the university later issued me a corrected CAS, allowing me to apply for a visa extension, which was ultimately successful. However, throughout this process, I was under extreme pressure and unable to focus on my dissertation as I normally would have. Given these extenuating circumstances, I kindly request guidance on potential options for reassessment or an appeal. I am deeply committed to my academic success, and I want to ensure that this situation does not affect my eligibility for the Post Study Work (PSW) visa. I would greatly appreciate any advice or support you can provide on how to proceed. Please let me know the next steps at your earliest convenience. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to your response. Best regards Syed Muhammad Hamza MSc Orthopaedics
