A one-of-a-kind initiative designed to provide students with easy access to essential, culturally relevant products that support the diverse needs of our student community. This vending machine will not only offer practical items but also help foster a sense of belonging for everyone on campus. This vending machine will offer items that aren’t always available on campus or in local stores, making it easier, cheaper, and more convenient for students to find what they need.

Our mission is to make sure all students feel seen, supported, and valued by offering products that cater to different cultural backgrounds and lifestyles.

Some items you can expect to see:

  • Bonnets and Durags
  • Asian & African Herbs and Spices
  • African Fanta
  • Silk Pillowcases
  • Textured hair shampoo and conditioner
  • Hijab Caps and Pins
  • Free Sanitary Towels
  • VapourRub and more!

Why Vote for the Kairos Group Vending Machine?

  • Convenience: Accessible 24/7 on campus, no need to travel off-campus to find what you need.
  • Affordable: Products will be offered at lower prices compared to local stores, making them budget-friendly for students.
  • Inclusive & Responsive: We want to hear from you! Tell us what products you think are missing or suggest ideas for new items. This vending machine will evolve based on the feedback and needs of students.
  • For Students, By Students: Students will even have the opportunity to sell their own products through the vending machine! Whether it’s homemade goods, cultural items, or essentials, we want this machine to truly represent and serve the student body.

By placing this vending machine on campus, we aim to promote inclusivity, celebrate diversity, and ensure that students have convenient access to products that make them feel at home. We need your vote to bring this idea to life and enhance the student experience!

This is an innovative idea that will be a great success and bring joy not only to international cultural community but to the native community as they will have a chance to see other culture and have a taste of it.
