Meditation is a valuable skill to develop. Dr. Sarah McKay found that participants in a meditation group who practiced mindfulness exercises for an average of 27 minutes a day reported significant improvements in their mindfulness levels compared to their pre-participation responses. After completing the mindfulness course, all participants reported significant improvement in mindfulness measures such as 'acting with awareness' and 'non-judging.' Brain images showed increased grey matter concentration in the left hippocampus, the posterior cingulate cortex, the temporoparietal junction, and the cerebellum compared to the control group.

Meditation helps create an inner  balance which is very important especially whilst balancing your studies at University with life in general.
