Society+ plus engagement is looking impressive, and we’ve awarded over 600 points across the board so well done to all of those who are getting involved! Great job to CRAGS for keeping the top spot, and huge congrats to Criminology for quickly getting into the top 3. I can’t wait to see next months results! Remember, open days are a great way to earn these points, it was nice to see CRAGS & Nursery and Midwifery attend the most recent one a few weekends ago.
Looking over all of your social media accounts, I wanted to point out some really cool posts on Criminology, Christian Union, and KPOP – keep going.
As always, please email me if you need any support or want me to get involved in something.
Until next month, Summer x
Café Society is a brand new, unique society in Chester. Our society welcomes everyone and encourages meeting new people through casual, stress-free meetings. Our society supports local independent cafes in Chester & encourages conversation and friendships as students grab a bite to eat or something to drink. Come and join our group.
We have worked very hard to generate interest in our society through social media reels and posts, and we’ve organised the cinema event on 28th November and a society collaboration on 2nd December at the bar to bring students together who might not have had the opportunity to meet otherwise. We hope this will help to break down barriers and allow for many more collaborations at the bar which can welcome students to relax and wind down away from their studies. Find more information on our Instagram @uoccrimsociety.
This month, Kingsway Performance Productions held their pantomime ‘The importance of being Buttons’ with over 100 people attending the 3 shows! All their hard work in rehearsals paid off and we’re excited to see what else they do this year.
