Hi! I’m Luisa.

A friendly, diligent final year student, running for VP Student Life 2025/26.

I have played an active part in the university community during my studies, through working at CSU as student staff (for nearly two years, I know CSU inside and out!), being Co-President of Café Society, a Student Ambassador and a Student Voice Representative -  all helping to improve student experience. This is an exciting opportunity for me to work directly with students - I would love to represent your voice and enhance your student life! 

Some ideas:

• International students – better integration between international and domestic students, international vending machines on all campuses, more events celebrating international culture

• Commuting students - More incentives to stay on campus e.g. coffee mornings
• Students outside of Chester (Warrington etc) – more activities and events based on these campuses, e.g. games afternoon
• Advice - Daily Walk in slots to speak to CSU Advisor
• Sustainability - permanent swap shop: for any unwanted clothing/items that other students can pick up for free, More recycling points & Water fountains
• Socialising - Regular low-commitment group activities to meet people e.g. afternoon bowling, day trip to Conwy; More relaxing spaces on each campus, Networking with other SU’s to have join society events
• Athletics Union – Work with AU for more beginner friendly, low commitment sports classes & groups
• University bar - Work with the university for more diverse events e.g. sip and paint
• Local community - Working with local businesses (e.g. cafes & shops) to provide student discount
• Safety - Compulsory consent course for all, more lighting on campus
