Serbia Princess Wilson-Ene

Hello,

My name is Serbia, and one thing that stands out about me is my commitment to make things work. I am running for vice president student life.  I am experienced in event management and planning, being in the industry for 15 years has made me understand the value of teamwork, discipline and balancing academics with extracurricular activities.

If elected, my priority would be to elevate campus events and management by launching themed event to celebrate student diversity, talent and creativity. I would carry every student along by developing an event toolkit with template, funding guides and mentorship for societies to host impactful activities.

In the same light, I would improve sport participation by featuring one group weekly on social media, campus boards, and newsletters to boost visibility and membership.

Another thing I would also introduce is a program called “Build The Bridge”. This is a community partnership system where we collaborate with local businesses and nonprofits for volunteer opportunities. This also includes an alumni network that connects students with graduates for mentorship, career advice, and collaborative projects.

Why Serbia? Doing is an action word, and I’m not just a talker. My years of experience mean I can hit the ground running to:
- Transform student life into a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive experience.
- Ensure every event, policy, and program reflects the university’s culture of diversity.
- Fight for transparency, resources, and opportunities that empower students.
